Time for catching up!

2nd shearing is done & I have been washing fleece like a crazy woman! The first fiber show of the season is March 24th! Coming fast! It's Fiberpalooza in Winterset, Ia. Two weeks later a show in Kansas City!

Also waiting for the new crop of lambies! The ewe mamas all look so uncomfortable & have a bad case of the "waddles" when they walk! I give the the pep talk each morning about what a great day it is to have babies, but so far nothing! Actual due date is the 20th!

way to Iowa to help with shearing & skirting! The two of them were a big blessing! We couldn't
have gotten nearly as much accomplished without their help! Sharon also took some awesome pictures while she was here!

Maude is one of our California Red ewes! She is more like one of the family & has forgotten that she is a sheep!

Getting Ready For Shearing!

We are shearing on Monday! Here are pictures of our Cormo Sheep & close ups of their fleece. We will be offering raw fleece for sale next week! At that time we will have full descriptions of the character & length of each individule fleece.
